WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Blackwater USA guards have used deadly force weekly in Iraq and have inflicted "significant casualties and property damage," according to a congressional staff report released Monday that cites internal company and State Department documents.

There has been additional reports on Blackwater as well, it seems they have had to fire 122 of their personal in Iraq..reasons misuse of weapons, drunk, drugs, misconduct, violent behavior.  They seem not to screen their employees very well.  Also Blackwater has been involved in shoots at a rate twice of the other two private security companies combined.  Further the State Department in many of the shooting incident attempt to make Blackwater pay civilian families.  The FBI is now opening an investigation into Blackwater and it's involvment in the September 16th incident.  An interesting part of the CNN report is that it seem one Blackwater guard did not stop firing on the crowd after a ease fire was called...another guard had to pull a gun on the guard to make him stop.

According to US Military Reports that are being released on the September incident.  The Blackwater guards opened fire with machineguns and grenades on the people in the square.  They (Blackwater) did not recieve fire prior to nor was there any return fire from any part of the area.  After this incident, the convoy Blackwater was guarding traveled down the same road for about 150 yards when the guards opened fire, again without provication, on a group of cars, killing one person and injurying about 10 more.

I have never agreed with the use of merc's in a war theater. Instead just use the money for signing bonus and extra combat pay for troops. If this were done, they could possibly regain some experienced special forces personel that had left the military, and having merc's cause a morale issue with the regular troops.
