Life is full of disappointments, hassle and crap. It is not if we get these things thrown into our lives but how we deal with them. Personal sites are no different, you are going to get all sorts of human behavior and certainly a lot of it is not going to be up to most people’s “standards”. Expecting something different is a reflection on you not this or any other site.
Simply put when on any personal site and you get emotional over someone you have never met person to person is an enter at your own very high risk situation. If you feel writing messages, IM’s and phone calls that may not lead to anywhere is a giant waste of your time, there is simply one easy solution, do not do it.
If you want to look online accept the bad with the good. If all you get is bad look inward and see what you need to change. One thing is for certain holding our breath and stomping our feet because things do not go our way are a waste of time and energy. If this is too much for you then do not do it. It is an easy solution.
My biggest pet peeve and advice is to simply not get emotionally involved or feel obligated to anyone you have never met in person. No matter how many messages or wanting of a relationship like we search for.
