Status: offline 		How many of your Dom/Domme takes pictures after a good scene/play, ( spanking, flogging, whipping, wax play)? It for some reason just got me thinking about photots and the scene. Mine likes to take pictures after he has created a "masterpiece" of wax play and cane/strap markings, but only sends them to me.
Just a curiosity question for everyone

He's a "wanna-be" photographer... and I certainly don't mind being his favorite subject (his words!).

Enjoy those pics.  I'll leave the "be careful" speech to someone else.

Status: offline 		I personally enjoy doing so. Then again, I like to show my toy off a bit, and she likes to be seen, and seeing marks I made on her is enjoyable to me. They fade, over time, since I've yet to mark her permanently. I like to be able to look at nice bits of work on the little one.

Yes Master enjoys taking photos of me after a scene, particularly watching bruises marks, or strikes upon her skin.  One time he caned her like he was hitting a baseball bat. Two marks were extremely violent that they blew up into a black and blue mark the size of a bowling ball on her buttocks. BEAUTIFUL Shot. A real memory of how violent and wonderful a caning can be. The mark lasted weeks and went into different colors. Very beautiful
In general though any time there is a good memorable moment. Also he takes pictures of good bondage ties as i can't see my hands or back when tied up, and to show the artistic quality of how he had me bound, and also to compare notes and techniques he will take pictures of his work.
There are many reasons, plus in my narcissitic view, i just love looking at myself.

sometimes it's a nice set of stripes from a flogging or the bright red outline of my hand
or if the tie job is nice

but yes I take pics and share them only with her and me

I'll step in here.  Be sure you trust him enough not to share the pics, post them online or pass them around to friends, unless you don't care who sees them.  I speak from experience here. Also be careful of potential blackmail if you have a discrete relationship.

Status: offline 		I love to take pics of subs I work with and i love Master to take pics of me! Yes I agree there is a need to be careful and to be honourable ... to a point, if someone is judged sufficiently trustworthy to play with they should be able to be trusted with the pics! I am careful to decapitate heads on pics ... or have the sub in a hood if they are not claustrophobic if that is what they want. Some of My sub friends have given Me permission to share certain pics of them with other potential subs so they can see My handiwork and levels of expertise. Otherwise, the pics are only for them and Myself (and Master is naturally privy to seeing them also).

Status: offline 		Sometimes we take pictures. I am particularly fond of the one where I have bruising on my neck resembling some form of plague. A dominant once played tic-tac-toe on my back with a porcupine quill - I wish I had a picture of that.

Status: offline 		Unless I'm in some sort of costume, I prefer to leave picture taking to other events. I've never felt the need to interrupt what we're doing to snap a shot of my marks. Besides, the best part about the marks is the way they feel later. I like the way they pul and tug when you least expect it.
 
I can understand wanting to take pictures, but it just has never been my thing. Well, at least in the circumstances described. In fact, I'd prefer to take pictures before...and if there is someone available, during the activity.
 
Don't get me wrong. I like the way marks look, but I prefer the way they look in the mirror...

Status: offline 		I sometimes like pictures taken of me. Not as a part of a humiliation nor to show them around but so that I can see how I look like during the scene. I of course have limited vision and no overview of how I am during the session so it's really interesting to me to see.

Status: offline 		My current Master doesnt seem to have any interest in taking photos after any scening or play, however all previous Masters have liked to do so and I loved it. I love seeing pics of what was done. I take a lot of pics when I play with my slave whether its punishment or play.

Status: offline 		I don't take photos after a scene.  Usually too interested in what we are doing and also I like to use a proper lighting set, which tends to get in the way!

I have taken numerous photos of marks though.  Mostly these were made specifically for the photo shoot,  though on occasion I have recorded the results of someones play.

Status: offline 		My Master has yet to take pics - although He says He's going to at some point. However, i have MANY pics taken by the Dom i played with before Him. He was the one in the sensitive relatioinship so i don't worry about blackmail. Besides, if i'm comfortable enough letting someone take pics of me in delicate situations, i trust them enough to not share without my permission. And the whole "decapitating" thing doesn't work for me as my tatts are as distinguishable as having my face in the pics... lol

Status: offline 		I love taking pictures.  I do not with Angel becasue he is uncomfortable with the idea. I have with Kitten, and Babydoll. Anyone else I even consider playing with is told upfront I will want tot ake them, and if there will be a problem they have to objecte ahead of time. I am ok with their not wanting to take pictures and all, so many people worry too much about where they might wind up.

I would love to take photos after a scene.  Sadly, only one of my submissives was into that...the other two were very afraid of what would happen to those photos if something happened between us.  Looking back on that, I see it in two ways...how much trust was being shown or was it caution?  But, why the need for such caution if you trust someone?  unless you are cynical enough to believe that after a relationship, the person automatically becomes a jerk and will show these around in such a way as to damage you?  Hmmmmmmmmmmm...now I can begin pondering again...

have someone taking the photos.
I will also post most of them too.
