The best way to put it is that it is exactly 1/2 of CP's 12 month rule.

Six month rule? DANG I wish it was part of people's programming! I have known people willing to turn over their assets immediately upon being collared. They will take naked pics, allow the new prospective to have their account passwords, and give them rights to post or show at will. It would be nice to think that they had at least met first. But too many of them would accept a collar from someone they just met as the plane was unboarded.
*sigh*
Six months smacks too much of having sense. I see too little of that in people who are anxious to "belong"

Hi LA,
Without knowing this was your rule this is my rule also.
I actually just petitioned my owner September 1st after dating him and owning myself the first 6 months.
We both knew 2 months into dating he was to be my Master, but I kept my imposed period.
I figure if it's meant to be it's STILL GOING TO BE THERE in 6 months.
All those hell fire bent to rush into things don't seem to remember it's not a race, and getting to the end is all they get for the accelerated schedule they force.
Relationships need time to develop much like a fine wine.

So YES, you do know someone who followed it.
