Two billion a week for Iraq, and no money for health-care insurance, for children in poor families.

Moral high-grounders ,my ass.

ok- well some of the states have better programs then others.

Owner59 -> RE: Bush vows to kill children`s healthcare bill (9/22/2007 12:59:34 PM)

In some states, kids are already covered,so it`s not an issue there.

im thinking they are in PA. Pennsylvania is a commenwealth; which in theory all its people share in the resources. If there is a more/equal generous place as to programs- Ild like to know about it.

What is the appropriate and fair number of children that can be denied healthcare in the United States?

An injury to one is an injury to all.

Here is something to consider: Bush called a special session to give corporations as governor in Texas. But on a childs health bill- they all waited till the legislature was in session.

Zero.

That`s what so freaky about republicans. They don`t even want America`s (poor)children to be healthy.

We got two billion week to throw down a rat hole,in Iraq....WTF?

Conservatives are going to be strongly against any additional healthcare programs that are funded by the federal government.

They are too involved in ending the need for healthcare in Iraq.

Well, and ending the health care for those who are brought home broken from that war.

Oh, I forgot about pulling money from the toothless survivors of a "unpredicted" hurricane predicted for years by
the scientific community.

Well, there is also...

p.s.  I hope they have enough boxes to pack their crap up from Washington, I suspect a lot of them will be looking for work the next few elections.

35 Billion to cover add a mere 4 Million to the already existing program.

$8750 for insurance for a child, for one year?

Absurdly expensive and should be veto'd.

Absurdly expensive in a way that invading Iraq was not.

Gotcha.

Sinergy

p.s.  I am guessing you do not have children who this bill would impact.

Gotcha?  Hardly, I've never defended the expense of invading or remaining in Iraq.

Yes, I do have children.  They are covered by healthcare.  I provide said healthcare by doing something so many people refuse to do nowdays... WORK.

Exactly.

Your kids are not impacted by this.

My point was that the ranting about childcare is an attempt to bag on the good for nothing parents.

What the fuck did a 4 year old do to deserve being denied health care?

Exactly,brother.

These are America`s children we`re talking about here, and as innocent as they come.

In spite of their no-good,lazy,over worked, under payed,no health insurance having, two job working leach parents,we have to make sure kids grow up healthy and strong. And BTW,doing that saves money in the end, many times over.

Fine..

Henceforth all Citizens of Every State shall deduct from their Federal Taxes Paid the sum equal to the additional State Tax levy required to fund NYS Child Health Plus.

No problem at all.
