I know what you mean about a scene seeming more arousing after the fact. While I didn't feel the need to stop my first scene, it was better afterwards than during. I had always thought of being shaved as something deeply erotic but the first time it just seemed pretty ordinary and slightly comical ... afterwards, very arousing. Second scene lasted for 3 days and I had to stop twice ... once because clover clamps hurt a hell of a lot more than I thought they would and once when I felt slightly claustrophobic being bound. Pretty much every other scene I have always wanted more, more, more .... but a wise man told me it's always better to be left wanting more. Luckily we are still together :) PS - This is responding to the OP, I still can't work the reply thingy properly....

My own memories of my first scene aren't very accurate. For me, it was so intense, and out of the ordinary, that by the next morning, it all had that "Dorathy back from Oz" or "Alien abuduction" feel to it: sort of reality, and sort of dream-like. I DO remember the feelings of relief afterward though... relief that the person I'd submitted to was NOT a serial killer, and that I wasn't chopped up an lying in a shallow grave somewhere... And the souvieners (all the bruises, welts and redness down my back, ass and upper legs) still were proof enough that it had actually happened. Oh, yeah, and the phone calls afterward, just to check up to make sure I was donig okay... It sounds like you had a grand time too! Don't sweat the "stopping the scene" bit. First timers are always a bit skittish. A light warm up almost constitutes edge play.

I just had my first scene a few weeks ago.. we had a full weekend of play, several times including lots of vanilla and snuggling time. I did leave wanting more. It was interesting what was arousing as the fantasy or what was more so.. I loved it. The Dom I played with took it nice and slow, constantly checking in with me. I echo the thoughts of most here in saying don't feel badly about stopping things, take it slowly, there's lots to enjoy and you'll enjoy it more if you tackle it in smaller bites rather than a gluttonous feast! I would also hope that your Dom realises that too ... I'd have to say I'd consider anal a bit intense for a first scene for a total newbie ... you'd have to have done a damned good job of begging LOL! And I'd prefer to be in a better lit environment so I could see a bit more of what was happening ... but then, I am big on safety and perhaps not so big on atmosphere. Damn, that hurt! May I have some more please?" I think that this is a pretty normal reaction for someone new to this thing we do. You are trying things that may have been a huge part of your fantasy life for years, and the reality can be quite overwhelming. If there were any advice that I could offer it would be to be kind to yourself for a couple of days. i have been into BDSM fully since January this year...and i can totally and honestly say that i absolutely love it, however i still get butterflies like the first time as each time is different... i take off my hat to you for begging Him to use your arse, it took me a while to get into that...and i do agree with "deliciously awful" too, though the more i do it the bigger the rewards lol!!! i am at the moment training it to be bigger for something special He has in store my birthday... I applaud you for you accepted a lot for your first time, dont feel bad that you asked to stop, thats normal and if your dom is understanding and knowledgeable he will respect you. Take some time to process what your feeling and go with it, enjoy the lifestyle and learn from it, remember we always can take more in a fantasy than perhaps in real (lol) for example I fantisize about anal but in reality in no way will I let anyone penatrate me.
