I have the most adorable grandson in the whole world. (Okay, so I might be just a little biased...lol) All went well. He came into the world today at 1:29 pm. A bit smaller than they were predicting, but a healthy, strong boy. 8lbs., 4 oz. and 21 inches long. They laid him down and he picked up his head and pushed his shoulders right up off the table. Must be the Irish....lol. He's very alert and follows your every move with his eyes. And I swear....I thought I saw him smile! I know, probably just wishful thinking but wow, is he awesome. Anyway, I would have to say that this has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The look of pride on my son's face today is going to be an image that I will carry with me forever. He had an expression that said that somehow, it all just clicked and he understands things now that he never could have before. I don't know his name yet, they are stuck between two names and want to spend the night with him getting to know him to see which one fits best. Thanks all for the congrats!
