Status: offline 		Some fellow lifestylers and I are planning a costume party (not comfortable saying Halloween) for next month and I'm wondering what would be some great suggestions as far as what to wear? Personally, I'm thinking of going as a pirate or doctor (actually as a gynecologist/proctologist) as in some respects, they are like fetish wear. In fact, what would you wear to an event like this?

Status: offline 		would it be terribly obvious if i said a kitty kat costume?  leather corset, leather ears, leather tail...possibly a lavendar satin thong for some color (might have to match it to the inside of my kitty ear)....i don't recomend the same for you ...though certainly would be original......

Status: offline 		It's interesting that you mention that as I saw an outfit that would be perfect for you on www.sub-shop.com, but you mght have better luck by visiting a local costume rental shop or if they have one in your area, a temporary one if it is in a shopping mall. Btw, I don't think dressing as a cat would be suitable for me, though earlier this week, I visited a place where I saw a leather biker's hat that I might wear even after Halloween! Lol

Status: offline 		i like the stuff on sub-shop.com...but i will not buy anything from their till i have seen their product in person because i have heard rumors about quality....or lack there of....

i am actually going to make my own leather clawed gloves if i can ever get around to it....take a pair of well fitting black leather gloves...sew on purple leather pads to the finger tips and install claws into the finger tips like these http://studsandspikes.com/buy/claw-spike-small-clawz-p-427.html  and ears are simple enough to make any color i want out of the scrap bin at the leather store...i also just had a guy say he bought me a pair of these http://wildilocks.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10&products_id=9 inner color: shiny pink-gold...stuff and outer color: pink purple tiger stripe...but the estimated delivery date is like two months...so i have to wait 2 months to see if he really bought them for me...

the hardest part of the outfit is really the corset but i have some friends that are going to get into custom quality leather corset making down here in south central texas...maybe i can work out a discount for being traveling advertising...lol....

hmm costume for you....costume for you...how about a santa costume? hehe...how could you pass up an oppourtunity to have lots of little subbies sitting in your lap?

Status: offline 		I dunno what it is like where you are, but I can always find a halloween party at a local bar or whatever.  I always threaten my vanilla friends that I am coming out in drag for halloween.  This year things might be over the top, so we're talking about venturing a bit further from home so we dont get found out....

Oh they were wonderful...all sorts of things...but mainly for chicks. For guys....anything uniformy...cops...firemen....that sort of thing...I love a man in uniform....

Status: offline 		You hit on a great spot to find costumes for halloween and theme parties.

I am big on costumes and roleplay.

A company called Leg Avenue ( www.legavenue.com) supplies costumes and such for strippers.  I see many of their costumes on women at halloween parties.  Their selection of men's stuff is right up your alley too.    Their stuff is readily available on ebay or through places like www.howcool.com.  They carry several lines of costumes in a larger array of sizes for both men and women.

My vanilla friends are very stuffy and uptight about this sort of thing.  I do like making them squirm though.

Funny story about santa....

2 years ago, with my ex boyfriend, we sat and thought and thought about costumes. Finally, I ended up in SUPER slutty Mrs.Claus outfit (i even spray painted a pair of heels white and attatched bells to them!!!) i had white fishnets... little fur cuffs around my wrists. it was super cute... And he did a FULL santa suit, complete with "Party Pete" (a 36" Inflatable Penis) that we attatched around his waist. (the santa belt hid the rigging. LOL) AND THEN... we went and bought battery opperated Christmas lights and wrapped it in those. Lets just say more girls said "Santa, can I sit on your lap" than i ever care to hear again. LOL.   Added bonus with the lights, not only were we super tall (he was 6'6 i am 6' plus heels sooo 6'3) We were LIT UP!!! and wearing red. People couldnt miss us :)

*credit for the costume goes to a brief clip of a halloween party from real sex on HBO.. they did a panning shot of a party, and we briefly saw a santa with a huge wang*

Sweetheart corset: $100 (cheap!)
Red Stilettos: $40
Opera Gloves: $25
Sequins Dress: ? (need to look into frabric)

Oh wait... yer straight; but are as particular (in your profile) as some school marm.  How 'bout a Professor...say from an English school for boys? 
 
Spectacles, white shirt, slacks...a blazer; and cary a strong, rattan cane so you can smack others as you deem they need it. 
 
I believe costumes should represent something ABOUT us...yanno?
