Yup. That's why the Right Wing Assholes FREAKED OUT when Move-On told the straight truth about Bush's Little Mockingbird, Petraeus....

Jon Stewart did a great Bush said ABC,/ Petraeus said ABC demonstration pointing out that all Petraeus did in Congress was present well established Bush Admin talking points.

Why are you posting a news article from over a year ago, and pretending it is relevant to the current Move on ad about the surge? That was the situation that led to the implementation of the "surge".

Why are you calling it a new report?

Well, the surge's goal was to facilitate the Iraqi Government achieving the benchmarks codified in US Law.

18 of them.

THREE were met. That's 17%.

That's a failure. The Surge strategy did *NOT* achieve it's stated goal of facilitating the consolidation of the phony-baloney, "National" government.

In other news, sectarian violence in the provinces is declining, because the sectarian cleansing of opposing sects is just about compete.
