Oh boy.
I got the shit beat out of me in school by a bunch of Blacks. There were never any charges, and I put a quick stop to it by carrying scissors, a quite effective weapon. Times were different then though.
Now we have killings over shoes, and damnear a federal case out of a schoolyard fight.
If I were the principal of that school after seeing those nooses, I would assemble the whole student body, tell them don't do anything just watch right now, and I would've cut the tree down.
I would insist that every student be there and then say "Get this straight, you do not own this tree nor the ground on which it stood. You have shown insensitivity and inhumanity. This school is for humans. Everyone is not equal, OK, but everyone has the same rights. Those who put those nooses there showed their inferiority by resortig to such a stupid tactic. Now we all have equal rights to sit under that tree, NONE. Are you happy now ?". Something like that.
Perhaps then it would be White students doing the beating, and it would never have made the news. What's more, I am not very impressed with the people up in arms over the probably overwritten charges against these Black students. If the races were reversed, Blacks would still be heard. Usually Whites do not condone gang beatings. If six White kids beat the living shit out of a Black kid for something as stupid as this, I would lend them no support whatsoever. I, as a White Man do not condone mob rules, but I can't say that for others, regardless of race.
The mob mentality, like a pack of wolves or a herd of some animals, that is not for us humans. We must rise above it all or drown in our own shit. All these kids are not taught right, and likely neither were any of their Parents (perhaps I shouldn't have capitalised in this instance). The noose hangers as well as the ass kickers are defective in their upbringing. They have absolutely no cohesion to the human race nor any form of empathy or compassion. They are territorial like animals. This is a disgrace to us all, on both sides of the issue.
And it's a goddamn shame that many of them never grow up. Look around you, drive on the freeway, get in line somewhere. People generally want to get ahead of the others. They take enormous risks for little or no gain.
Perhaps we should sterilize everyone at birth for about five years. Then, instead of children being thrust into overcrowded school with which they have trouble coping, we would see them value each other. Try to get along.
I hate to bring it up, but it is in the Protocols "Every Man would be a dictator if he could". I don't fucking care if the Protcols are fake, if you want to dispute them, do it on a point by point basis. That document has as much wisdom in it as the Bible, the Koran, whatever. I don't care who wrote it, it is true.
Each person craves power, but few know how to attain it properly. If you are a leader you will attract followers, I know this firsthand. But it doesn't seem like leading, it feels more like a responsibility. Those who use force to gain control have no real power. My people are loyal to me, beyond the law, even to the death. When you use force or fear to get control you always have to watch your back. True leaders do not need bodyguards or armies.
Shit like the subject of this thread is basically a bunch of animals fighting over their turf. Execute them all we don't need them. I don't need them on the same planet as the kids my friends raised painstakingly to be human. Yes they have erred, but not like this.
I have had firsthand experience with gangs, you get any one of them alone they are not so brave. This is totally animal, did the White kids and the Black kids want to sit under the tree at the same time ? They will probably all grow up to be adults who will kill for a parking space. You see, in my view, the nooses were as bad as the beating, it is all the same thing. Turf.
The human race should be out of that stage before they even go to school. They think they own that fucking tree ? Who owns the tree ? If none of these students paid for the tree, who the fuck do they think they are ?
We have the ability to mature as children, even by age five or so if things go right. Being territorial is OK, as long as your name is on the deed. But many are raised by people who have not grown up themselves. Some of us are very lucky. Some are not.
The OP states straight up she is a southern girl born and raised or something like that. But she did not use the N word or the J word, why ? I suspect she is a human being who enjoys the company of others, even if they are not quite her model of perfection. That, in my view, is the definition of human. Please try to teach the children this.
