DST sucks.   Twice a year you end up early or late and Monday morning is not the day to feel its effects.

Changing the date screws up a lot of systems that were hard-programmed to make the change under the "old" rules.

I like Benjamin Franklin's take on it:  Tax the shutters and ration the candles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time

But hey, that's just me ;)

estimates state that we will save x amount of energy by this simple move. why did it take so long to implement the idea?

makes me wonder how many other ideas there are that remain off the shelf as we "have always done it abc way"...well having always done it the certain way doesnt mean a new way is counter productive.

indeed we need an entire make over on how we use energy.

the other day- i can say every possible light bulb in my house is the new efficient type. only decorative lights remain. now to recycle the old bulbs.....
