By KATHLEEN HENNESSEY and LINDA DEUTSCH, Associated Press Writers O.J. Simpson says he only went into a casino hotel room to retrieve memorabilia that he felt was stolen from him. But police are investigating it as an armed robbery and named the fallen football star as a suspect Friday in yet another surprising chapter to his legal saga. In an interview with The Associated Press, Simpson insisted there were no guns involved and he only went to the room at the Palace Station casino to retrieve stolen mementos that included his Hall of Fame certificate and a picture of the running back with J. Edgar Hoover. "It's stolen stuff that's mine. Nobody was roughed up," Simpson told the AP. Las Vegas Metro Police Capt. James Dillon said the confrontation was reported as an armed robbery involving guns. But he said no weapons had been recovered and stressed that the investigation was in its "infancy." Simpson was questioned by police immediately after the incident late Thursday and a formal interview was being arranged, Dillon said. If the people he took the stuff from, with or without gun/s, can prove ownership, the Juice is gonna get squeezed again. He might not do so well with a Vegas jury, and, again if they can prove ownership of the memorabilia, his statement could easily be an admission of conspiracy. This guy seems to think he can get away with murder. Oh wait... nevermind.

Look, OJ didnt do it! If only we all put some faith in him, he'll move heaven and earth to find the person who robbed this place, OK? Yes, he has said he went into the room where the memorabilia was, but just then this other guy followed him in, with a gun, and took the stuff. I mean, OJ's life was at risk here, and youre treating him like a suspect? E

Good afternoon, Rich. Hmmm, I doubt if they'll put the Juice back on TV [:D], but then again.......... No, no a/c yet. This sucks, and yet, it could suck far more......... that's what I keep telling myself lol....... I just hope it's on by tonight. Got to get back to work tomorrow, and driving my heap so many miles, back and forth from my brother's house, wears it down.
