I just wanted to put this up
i am so ticked off how the hell is it that collarme can tell me that a photo that has needle play is not community related and they don't allow it on your profile
i can understand if there where gentiles in the photo or anything like that but first they Denni photos of Bondage then they Denny pictures of needle play this is a BDSM lifestyle Community Personal sight isn't it ?

Everyone's just going to tell you to demand a refund and stop whining.

By the way it's "DENY."

I've never managed to get a photo approved and each one that's been rejected has had no nudity, nothing "extreme," nothing that I could have guessed would be rejected based on the written guidelines. No biggie.

Absolutemaster -> RE: How many have not had BDSM lifestyle photos approved that show no nudity or anything like that (9/14/2007 7:15:54 AM)

I had a close-up of a hand holding a hypodermic needle refused.

And also one of my face but with my eyes blacked out.

But I have seen a profile photo on here of a woman with her baby...

CM has a subjective approach to pix.

It could also be, that not every volunteer has the same set of criteria.

I have had photos rejected, only to be accepted some time later..

It certainlt isn`t the nudity or level of BD/SM activity shown.

Don`t try to figure it out.

I had a pic of my dog rejected, so I tried again a couple of months later. Lo and behold I now have a pic of Mickey the Wonderdog on my profile.

instynctive -> RE: How many have not had BDSM lifestyle photos approved that show no nudity or anything like that (9/14/2007 7:40:24 AM)

I've had many photos not approved.. no explanation given, showing no more nudity than someone can see on TV.. and I don't mean NYPD Blue...

Oh well.  Their site, they can be as lenient or as nazi as they wanna be.

 On Mondays,no dogs

Tuesdays?  no cats...

Wednesday is Prince spaghetti day,... no food shown please...

Thursday.. no one with a smile gets in..

Friday?.....no pix of fat chicks...

Saturday.... every picture is approved, sight un-seen.

Sunday,..volunteers get the day off.

Hope that clears things up...

It is pretty simple actually.  The mods approving the profile photo's are volunteers.  With volunteers, many don't exactly have much time.  Some don't care much.
Some read the TOS and some glaze over it while others don't even do that.

In my years here I have seen photo's of children claiming to be adults.  Full on sex...just about anything you can think of.  There have always been people complaining that they can't get a seemingly normal photo in.  It merely rests with the fact there is more than one person OK'ing photo's.  They had a more liberal person while unfortunately you don't have the same.

Nothing you can do but read the TOS guidelines and volunteer your own time.  Then at least you will know there is one quality profile reviewer out there.

I was just trying to be helpful to other readers. It took me a while to figure out who Denni and Denny were. [:)]

Stephann -> RE: How many have not had BDSM lifestyle photos approved that show no nudity or anything like that (9/14/2007 9:34:41 AM)

I've volunteered to approve photos, but seems CM doesn't trust my judgment [:D]

have you guys actually looked at the mods profiles?  the only one who's even been around lately is 11.  I don't think the others are even here any more or are hardly here if they are.

I also volunteered...then they said I had to talk on the phone with them...I didn't like that idea so I said no thanks....but I did decide, well, ok....and they never got back to me.  I'm here a lot.  I essentially know the TOS, I certainally can read, I've never been moderated but they must have decided they didn't like me either.

edited to add:  out of 17 mods, it appears only 4 are around and about (I just perved em all)

SeanPony -> RE: How many have not had BDSM lifestyle photos approved that show no nudity or anything like that (9/14/2007 9:47:23 AM)

I had a picture of me welding rejected just recently.

The people approving the pics seem kind of uptight but whatever.

KatyLied -> RE: How many have not had BDSM lifestyle photos approved that show no nudity or anything like that (9/14/2007 9:48:28 AM)

Moderators do not approve photos.  It is two different categories of volunteer help.

  As an aside,

We the CM users could/should always alert the Mods, or the CM staff, when they see under aged people or minors,or anything that`s obviously a no-no.

As well as profiles that might be kids posing as adults.I saw a profile on TSR once, which went something like: "The age thingy says I`m eighteen, but I just became a teenager(hint),and want an older man, blah ,blah".....She was from the UK.
I reported it to Tanos, right away. The profile was quickly pulled.

I think the staff appreciates the help and won`t think you`re a busy-body.Policing the site is kind`a everyone`s job.

obis -> RE: How many have not had BDSM lifestyle photos approved that show no nudity or anything like that (9/16/2007 9:12:27 PM)

Part of the low, low price we pay for being here is that it isn't exactly a megacorp with uniform standards applied 24/7. Anything with blood, nudity, animals, etc is a pic that will be hit or miss, just because they require some judgment.

feastie -> RE: How many have not had BDSM lifestyle photos approved that show no nudity or anything like that (9/16/2007 9:27:04 PM)

I have a photo of my lipstick prints.  It was rejected, because it was a body part.  It's the graphic I used on my website when I built it.  They're my lips, dangit.
