The BDSM Rainbow - 9/12/2007 5:17:04 AM

Status: offline 		Well, after kind of dreary day and some much needed rainfall, I awoke this morning to sunshine and a beautiful rainbow; and I thought to myself how similar embracing our true D/s selves is like climbing over that rainbow and finding the pot of gold on the other side.  It’s that wonderful sense of freedom we all feel when we’re doing something we love, something that allows us to express our true spirit inside.   It cuts to our core, enabling us to tap into that part of ourselves that we too often ignore or allow arbitrary societal rules censor and taint.  Only by stepping over that rainbow inside yourself, can you become one with the real you and enable those wondrous colours to shine brightly.   This truly is the essence of BDSM and something we should all be striving hard to do more often.  Have a great day and enjoy your pot of gold.   Mystic Master

Status: offline 		thats cool...i have half a pack of ankle biters with me...and they are viscious...the electric guys were working on something in our back yard once and didn't tell us they were back there, and we let the dogs out...all 4 of the dashchunds and the large mix breed mutt...once we got the ankle biters back inside they came down off the fence to play with the mutt....

Status: offline 		How awesome to wake up to such positive thoughts.  Thank you for sharing your joyful sentiment with us.  Loved what you said about our colors shining brightly - I will think about that today! 

I once looked at a prism and saw all the colors running through it.  It was a long time ago and I remember thinking about how people are as complex as what this prism was showing - that the color I see depends on which angle I am looking at it from.  I thought people are similar.  I can't see someone's whole "self" - I can only see whatever color is revealed by my viewing point.  And if I look at them from a different angle, I'll probably see a different "color."

So to think of all my colors shining brightly is a vibrant and wonderful thought!

Well said, I had that wonderful feeling today, that really brought out the true essence of the lifestyle.

I got stuck in traffic for a fuckin half hour cause some hard-on crashed on the side of the road.  Then I run over a broken bottle or some other little piece of shit in the road and I get a flat tire.  So I pull over on the side of the road and start changing the tire in the fuckin rain, and this douchebag tow-truck driver pulls over and says "Hey, you can only use the breakdown lane for emergencies."  So I says, "Hey asshole, I'm not having a picnic, I'm trying to make sure my car has 4 wheels."  And he says "Hey, just letting you know, you could get a ticket for that."  And I says "Yeah, and I'm just letting you know you can suck my big veniy frank and beans!  It's a free country and I'll fix my fuckin car where I damn well feel like fixin my fuckin car!" 

So numbnuts drives off and I find out the piece of shit tire iron I got at walmart for 5 bucks can't handle one fucking lugnut.  So there I am trying to change the tire with a tiny fuckin wrench and a hammer.  And then I get one of those super deep ass-itches, and try to ignore it for a while.  Finally I say, hey, fuck it.  I pay my taxes,  I'll scratch my ass wherever I damn well please.  If no one wants to see it, then no one has to look.  So traffic is still jammed and this dipshit with a pink tie is staring at me while I set things right with the ass itch.  So I says, "Hey asshole!  Only by stepping inside the rainbow yourself can you become one with the real you and enable those colors to shine so brightly."
