What's your guess on ticket prices?!

keeping my fingers crossed hoping they make a stop in Chicago (if their tour begins in London) - that would be THE one show i would love to review!

Look, the price of a pint at the Queen's Head in Wolverley near Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England, has risen exponentially over the last few years, so its important that one's earnings rise accordingly.

(its the bar room rather than the lounge, usually on a Thursday around 8pm)

Won't they have to exhume and reanimate both the original drummer and Plant's voice?

The drummer is another question, but the voice thing is caused by Bob's incredibly swollen head. My advice would be, to boo and hiss a great deal when he comes on stage, which must surely have the same effect as totally ignoring the big headed bastard in the pub.

The only thing bad is that it's just a "one-off" show..... they really need to make an album, the geezers.

What puzzles me about this is that I had read that they were contractually unable to use the name Led
Zeppelin after Bonzo died.  Maybe the statute of limitations ran out. Part of me wonders whether they
have waited all this time because of that, or perhaps John Paul Jones did not wish to tour way back when.

I am sure they are coming to Los Angeles, will have to see how I feel about paying hundreds of dollars for
tickets.

Jones was actually upset that neither Plant nor Page contacted him about playing together:

1990s
Page and Plant reunited in 1994 for an MTV Unplugged performance (dubbed Unledded) which eventually led to a world tour with a Middle Eastern orchestra, and a live album entitled No Quarter. The bass player was Charlie Jones, who had been the bassist with Plant's own band for several years. Many see this as the beginning of discord with John Paul Jones, who was upset with Page and Plant for touring without asking him first. Tensions were further increased when Plant was asked at a press conference where Jones was, and he jokingly replied that Jones was parking the car.[53]

On January 12, 1995, Led Zeppelin was inducted into the United States Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They were inducted by Aerosmith's vocalist, Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry. At the induction ceremony, the band's inner rift became apparent when Jones joked upon accepting his award, "Thank you, my friends, for finally remembering my phone number," causing consternation and awkward looks from Page and Plant.[54]

And:

So what's going on between the three of you now?

Well, relations are cordial. We meet for Zeppelin business, but I've never really asked them why they called their first album "NO QUARTER", for a start [laughs]. At the time, I was a bit upset that I read about what they were doing in a newspaper rather than anybody having the courtesy to call me up and say, "We're doing this and you'll probably read about it everywhere." Apart from that, we have gone our separate ways, shall we say. And I'm really pleased, because in the end they've done me a favor. Because they probably pushed me into deciding it is about time I did this solo album. So I'm happy.

From http://www.nme.com/news/led-zeppelin/30908

"A fan who met Plant in London today contacted NME.COM explaining that the singer said he was on his way to meet bandmates Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones."

I thought I read somewhere that Jason Bonham would do drums but now I can't find that.

I didn't see anything about not using the name Led Zepplin.

I'm guessing tickets will start at $250 for nosebleed seats.

mnottertail -> RE: Robert Plant Confirms Zepplin Reunion (9/8/2007 10:38:34 PM)
