Just curious who else has seen it and what you thought of it.  Please be gentle.  You can talk bad about me, my mother, and the church but take it easy on Rob, ok?  I love everything he does and I really loved "Halloween."  Anyone else have comments?.............luci

Haven't seen the movie, but he was incredible in concert.  Probably one of the best concerts I've ever gone to.

I  haven't seen it, luci, but it looks good. He's a talented guy, though I wish he hadn't canned WZ.

The Rob Zombie/Ozzy shows were sad. Rob made Ozzy look so old, pointless, and irrelevant.

I'm glad Rob finally hit with a movie. 30 Million your first weekend means you get to do the sequel.

HI

I saw the movie and thought it was great. It has a few make you jump places and shows a really twisted verson of the little Meyers. I think it is a great new/old horror flick.

I loved it too, LadyKimberly.  The first half, especially.  The original has always been in my top horror movie faves and I just knew Rob would do it justice.  He outdid himself.  The whole first half where he shows Michael growing up and turning into what he became was simply excellent.  Pure Rob Zombie.  And the cameos by all my fave actors from his first two movies just made it all the more fun (Mama Firefly, Captain Spaulding, Otis Driftwood, Charlie, both the sheriff's, etc).  I highly recommend it to anyone who liked Zombie's other flicks.......luci

I have not seen the remake yet. However, I've always been a big Halloween fan. Do you mind doing a spoiler for me to make sure I don't get disapointed in the remake? Did the actress playing the Sister have better boobs than Jamie Lee Curtis during the flash shot in the original Halloween?

I hate to break it to you, Fangs, but I don't recall seeing the sister's boobs at all.  Several others showed them, but not her.  But seriously...they couldn't be better than Jamie Lee's now, could they?.........luci

I haven't seen it, but I am planning on it.  I have always been a big John Carpenter fan, and he has given this version his praise.  I am interested in seeing how Zombie presents the story, ad especially the changes he did with the Dr. Loomis character.  Although I have to say, I didn't care for The Devil's Rejects or House of 1,000 Corpses.  They weren't horrible movies, but they didn't live up to the expectations I had.  But, people have been telling me that this movie isn't like either of those at all.  So I shall have to wait and see for myself.

I think that was Annie's boobs, not Laurie's.  And I wasn't impressed either.........luci

No, it's not like those really.  But...the first part of the movie that shows what goes on inside young Michael's family...I think that's pure Rob Zombie.  He really knows how to portray dysfunction........luci

So many different sets of tits that it's easy to get discom"boob"ulated....har har har....no, they don't match up to Jamie Lee's but, hey, they're young, perky tits and who can resist looking?  No complaints here...........luci

Well i liked the first one better - this remake was a bloodbath as well as a soft porn movie. You didn't have the connecttion to the main character as you did in the first movie. It seemed rushed. You did get to know Michael Meyer as a kid, which was different than the first movie.  i just wasn't that scared, it was too predictable.  Not enough suspension.  Remember in the first one he walked slowly and you caught glimpses of him and it took time for him to get to the murders. In this one he was just a green hulk like maniac lol.  i wonder if they will remake them all. They changed a lot too.  It was done in memory of Mustafa Akaad - the original director of the first one.  But i am glad you enjoyed it.  Any other horror movies you like luci?

I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD to see how much was much it was changed. I never liked his previous movies, so not sure if this is gonna be any better...but we'll see. Some things should be left as they are. usually when someone remakes a movie, it's not an improvement on the original.

Actually it is only assumed that Dr. Loomis died. It sure does look like he died, but if there is a part 2 I wouldnt be surprised if Loomis is back. Its been a long time since I saw all the originals, but didnt Loomis suffer some sort of major facial injury at the jands of michael? Also did anyone else notice that as Michael was pressing his fingers into Loomis' eyes Loomis had blood running out of his nose, yet when Loomis fell to the floor there was no blood on his face.
I was also sad that Michaels mom, Sherry Moon Zombie, didnt show her boobs. Michaels sister and the sherrifs daughter had the best boobs in my opnion.
