Correct, but that is what we're talking about, word-for-word content lifted from another site in place of ones own content. I see a lot of poetry lifted from elsewhere and it should be properly credited to the author. If I wrote a report on a historically significant person, I'd put it in my own words. I would quote a source to lend validity to my own work, or I'd be quoting said historical figure directly. While not technically correct, I see people often quoting content lifted from elsewhere, blogs in particular, and they use italicization, coloring, or a different type font. Either way, it really needs to be linked back to the source. I always credit the author AND publisher, as the author is NOT always the holder of the copyright.
