Status: offline 		CAIRO, Egypt - Osama bin Laden plans a new video to be released in the coming days ahead of the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks in what would be the first new images of the terror mastermind in nearly three years, al-Qaida's media arm announced Thursday.

The al-Qaida leader has not appeared in new video footage since Oct. 29, 2004, and he has not put out a new audiotape in more than a year.

One difference in his appearance was immediately obvious. The announcement had a still photo from the upcoming video, showing bin Laden addressing the camera, his beard fully black. In his past videos, bin Laden's beard was almost entirely gray with dark streaks.

Maybe the video has him announcing he's the new spokesman for 'Grecian Formula'. They've been looking for somebody ever since Pete Rose got into trouble.

Status: offline 		Boring. All he has got to do is to simply fess up that he had nothing to do with 911 and that he merely followed CIA orders and that Bush was the puppet master. That he does not proves that it is true.

Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another
attack to galvanize us in solidarity.

Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over
terrorism of all kinds.

Action Plan: So, here's what we need you to do...

(1) Forward this to everyone you know.
Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments
guide you.

(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11.
Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don't,
then at least make it a priority on this day.

I would caution against subscribing to hyperbolic propaganda.

9/11 wasn't EVEN CLOSE to our nations worst tragedy. More people die on the highways each year.

3000 dead is NOTHING compared to REAL casualties.

7. Battle of Second Manassas Date: August 29-30, 1862 Casualties: 25,251 (16,054 Union and 9,197 Confederate)

6. Battle of The Wilderness Date: May 5-7, 1864 Casualties: 25,416 (17,666 Union and 7,750 Confederate)

5. Battle of Antietam Date: September 17, 1862 Casualties: 26,134 (12,410 Union and 13,724 Confederate)

4.. Battle of Spotsylvania Date: May 8-19, 1864 Casualties: 27,399 (18,399 Union and 9)000 Confederate)

Gettysburg. After which Lincoln so elegantly summarized the ***ONLY*** permissible reason for mobilizing the Republic to War.

Yeah he said he didn't do it, so case closed I guess.  Timothy McVeigh admitted that he was guilty, but I am willing to bet you think that was a government conspiracy too.

Status: offline 		9-11 was/is a profound tragedy.  as cold as this might sound. it has occurred we must move on to other more pressing issues.

also- i took down any US flags went bush ran amuck. i refused to even use flag postage stamps.

IMO- a random act of kindness drive would produce more then flying the flag.

I love this country. [tho] it has become a place thats hard to recognise.

Everyone will recall where tehy were at on  9-11. the entire world was agasp.

It was the most surreal day of our collective lives. [moreso even then y2k]
