I never thought an 80s song would be used for scening, but hey, whatever floats yor boat! Lol

Zephrim -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/5/2007 3:33:19 PM)

She Wants Revenge, Depeche Mode, KMFDM, Tool, Perfect Circle, Lacuna Coil, Jack Off Jill. Some classical, opera, and other odd and especially creepy music I find.

Anything by nightwish, specially bless the child and wishmaster.

"Living Dead Girl" by Rob Zombie

Phin -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/5/2007 5:13:21 PM)

A song that really adds to my topspace is Opiate by Tool, that opening line "Choices always were a problem for you, what you need is someone strong to guide you" gives me a snap-to every time

I like Closer by NIN just because of the solid rythm all the way through it. Its good for focus.

To set the mood as a bottom the same band that I have in my quote, Nephilym, has a song called "Carpet Burn" the lyrics are about a guy that gets caught "Fucking this dirty slut" as said in the song, by a carpet burn on his knee. the opening line is "She breaks the silence with fingernails down new skin" that line sent shivers down my back the first time I heard it.

i suppose its karmic intervention for all those times i sang the song that never ended or 867-5309 for those people that were complaining about having a song stuck in their head....

I always sing "what I got" by sublime. I dont know witch is better the looks of agony because I cant sing for nothing, or the looks of agony because they now have a new song stuck...

Evenescence, every time I hear music from her first CD ( the title of the CD, slips my mind right now) it just makes me think of lovely painful things *s* especially trhe song 'Bring me back to life' I hear that and like Pavlov's dog's trailed to drool, it  makes me shiver.

The soundtrack to Underworld 1 and 2 are really good as well

*edited because spelling is a mystery to me today*

I am so tempted to be a smartass and say Dope's Die MF Die, but I don't really use music for scening, I do before I play hockey, but not scening, maybe I should give it some thought

I've always liked the theme music from The Addams Family, myself.

LOL..I can see where that song would be handy for all sorts of synchronization.~wink~..however my personal choices..especially seeing as how half of the songs mentioned I do not even know!![:o]..(sucks getting older ..lol)..I rather enjoy Tears for Fears..or something haunting from Enya....Tempting

Anything by Type O Negative.  Im one of those gals that get off on dark sadistic stuff.

celticlord2112 -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/5/2007 7:07:35 PM)

Mozart's Requiem sets a nice somber tone...

Knightenslaves -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/5/2007 7:30:16 PM)

The soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian...anything really fits to that.
Also Desert Rose now since my little one decided to create a dance to it [:D]

celticlord2112 -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/5/2007 9:14:06 PM)

Or, as anyone who's seen "Excalibur" surely can appreciate, just about anything from the Carmina Burana

straykitten -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/5/2007 10:14:07 PM)

She Wants Revenge is good..."Closer" by NIN, obvi.  Interpol's Antics album usually puts me in the mood...and any good thumpy classical music, like "The Planets", "O Fortuna", etc. I was thinking about making a mix CD of Enigma and Bjork for sceneing too.

enya, um no.

taintedgypsy -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/6/2007 8:19:33 AM)

ok got to agree with nickelback, but pussy cat dolls loosen up my buttons or Don'tcha and of course sexy back .... lol but an old favorite fine line between pleasure and pain  ... all bring thoughts of BDSM ... to play I prefer a back ground of medievil almost reverant music ... heavy instumental with a clasical flavour ... something that matches the intensity is always good

just a girls thoughts

Tristan -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/6/2007 10:26:04 AM)

Anything from Dead Can Dance.  Their music puts me in an almost meditative state while scening.

celticlord2112 -> RE: What song/artist put you in the mood for scening? (9/6/2007 10:58:30 AM)

"Shout" by Tears for Fears
