There's no doubt in my mind, that this technology has been used for quite some time already.

As soon as you admit to there being an information war you have lost the information war.

This is mostly about marketing some generic communications product I doubt it has any real ability to control peoples minds beyond that of the person buying it.

hearing the word terrorists 50,000 times a day sure seems to work well on the public,  oh and osama binladen who they called off the search for 2 months after 911 but still talk about as if they are on the hunt LOLOL

Same here.

I'm of the opinion that the West is far more dangerous than Islamic nations; the reason being that the West has the wealth and innovation to develop this type of technology/system to meet their ends, and their leaders/government/sections of the population believe themselves to be righteous and virtuous: they will harness this technology for the purpose of achieving their idea, and if it means the people have to be brainwashed, then so be it; according to the righteous, the wider population will thank for them for it later. 

Increasing liberty is countered by new, more subtle methods of control: the West can't be oppressed through force, so it has to be propaganda and advertising.

So what steps have you taken to avoid the brainwashing of this product it seems sadly I have succumbed to it?

all one needs is the right madison avenue life- to be "happy".

the tv is more real then reality
