Take it easy, feel your way around, don't accept the first offer you gett, just play the field until you find someone interesting.
I am not interested, myself, being the wrong side of the Atlantic, but stay safe, take precautions and look after yourself.
And just a personal view I would like to put, don't get into under of these 'under consideration' situations where you promoise a Dom to cease all other communication until he gets around to taking control.
In my world no contract is agreed until all details are settled, you have met in person and settled everytjhing properly.
