While the media goes wild because a Senator was tap-dancing in a bathroom stall... the media is purposely ignoring a story where a major Democratic donor and fundraiser who has raised more than $1 million dollars in the past 3 years for Hillary Clinton.... is also a fugitve wanted by the state of California since 1991.

Again... another crooked Chinese immigrant giving money to the Clintons. And people believe this is just another right-wing conspiracy? Remember back in 1996...Al Gore raised money from Buddist nuns and Bill got caught in a scandal where he was accused of selling American secrets and technology to the Chinese in exchange for campaign donations for the Democratic National Commttee. Fundraisers Johnny Chung and Charlie Tree were indicted for illegal fundraising activities. And a House committee investigated several American contractors. Did you also know that Bill met privately in 1996 with the daughter of the top general of the Chinese military?

So lets go ahead and elect Hillary so she can sell what's left of this country to the damn Chinese. We trade one crook (Bush) for another (Hill-Bill).

---------------------

Norman Hsu is one of the leading political fund-raisers in the country this year. In fact, many fund-raisers say he is one of a small handful of people capable of raising more than $1 million -- a major feat considering the maximum donation allowed by an individual for 2008 races is $4,600 per candidate.

But longtime political donors are curious: "Who is Norman Hsu?" asks Robin Chandler Duke, a former ambassador and longtime supporter of Bill and Hillary Clinton.

I am voting (so far) for Barack Obama. If he teams up with Hillary, I am not sure who I will vote for.

This is a joke, but I like it anyway... Dear Abby,
My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the beginning and, when I confront him, he denies everything. What's worse,
everyone knows that he cheats on me. It is so humiliating.      Also, since he lost his job six years ago, he hasn't even looked for a new one. All he does all day is smoke cigars, cruise around and bullshit with his buddies while I have to go off to work to pay the bills.
Ever since our daughter went away to college he doesn't even pretend to like me ...and he drops hints around to outsiders that I may be a lesbian. What should I do?
"Clueless"

Dear Clueless,

Grow up and dump him.  Good grief, woman.    You don't need him anymore!
You're a United States Senator from New York running for President of the United States.
Act like one!

Typical Republican, $300,000 a year if it involves a Dem.  Can you tell me how much money Abramoff a CONVICTED felon gave Bush?

Oh, and perhaps you haven't noticed, but we didn't go to war with China and it is Bush who has allowed them to destroy the US economy.

I think the media was also a little too preoccupied with the GAO report on IRAQ.

If you are Republican, you best hope that Hillary wins the Democratic nomination, because Obama will simply crush any Republican he faces in a presidential race.

Hillary gives the GOP a fighting chance.

Didn't the Federal Election Commission just find both parties guilty of massive fundraising illegalities?

Could not agree more, I mean there is corruption and questionable ethics anywhere money and politics intersect so with all that is going on it is just shocking some donation made does not get Hilary thrown in prison this very second!

The only difference besides how they think government should be run between Democrats and Republicans is at least most Democrats can admit their leaders’ ethics and morality works on a sliding scale while Republicans seem to have to believe that their leaders are somehow perfect human beings forced or tricked into bad things by evil people.

Bill Clinton would fuck anyone woman he can. Al Gore never met an opinion poll that could not change his mind. King George cannot admit to making a mistake. Giuliani can only offer up fear mongering.

The mistake people are making in today’s political climate is trying to pick some one who can fake good moral character and convictions in beliefs. If we just come to our senses and start picking people who are best going to help our country and the people in it instead of judging which character flaw is more evil we would be so much better off in this country.

Alumbrado's right.

campagin finance is a joke. lobbyists are about as undemocratic as you can get.

To point at one specific instance in order to bash one party over the other only allows partisanship to keep things from actually improving...which in my opionion was a big reason Washington warned against two party system's in the first place.

Perhaps Hillary is demurring, but I don't see any democrats out actively trying to stuff the story down their pants.

SNORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You make it unlawful for Artificial Legal Entities to contribute ANY funds to ANY political organization.

Problem Solved.

Susan, and why is that?
Do you consider the Senator *"exciting"* like Tim Russert does?
Funny, individuals can only contribute a certain amount to campaigns but corporations can contribute millions.

Red Herring?

So they are both crooks and neither should be supported, or do you disagree?

I say get rid of the cheerleaders.

The mistake happened long ago and continues to happen. That mistake is accepting servants (politicians) that will compromise their principles and do not own up to accountability. This means both parties, this party line BS is part of the problem too.

Fraud
I dont know the whole story but apparently back in 1989 he started a business and somehow stole money from stockholders. The company went bankrupt after 2 years. Seems most of his past has been rather shady.
