ORIGINAL: BeachMystress If turned up too high, it can be painful if you're looking to torture a female. (They really should mark the dials better for low light usage! OW) That's one of the things that really has me thinking about upgrading to an Erostek unit... i have one of the pager-sized TENS, and itty-bitty knobs they use to adjust power have resulted in some very unpleasant surprises! Incidentally, with the several different source units, different types of cords, and numerous manufacturers of accessories, it can be a little overwhelming to figure out what you can use with what... My solution was to cut the wires coming off of the source unit and add quick-disconnect terminals, and put matching terminals on all the different types of wires i had laying around. A benefit of this method is that it then becomes very simple to make your own accessories, starting with a simple pair of wires with a pair of alligator clips on the ends... They're very intense to use directly on the skin, but if you wrap a piece of bare copper wire several times around a body part, then attach the clip to the wire... you can explore a much wider range of sensation. Using a large electrode on one part of the body, then using a single piece of stiff wire as the other, will focus almost all of the sensation at the end of the wire... When the skin is sweaty, or misted with a little salt water, the feeling can be very much like a knife or branding iron. The basic idea extends nicely to things like Wartenburg wheels, brass brushes, copper scouring pads, light chains, trailer hitch balls... LOTS of stuff out there conducts electricity
