in all actuality, any time you want to role play some thing that is as common as a cat... (vs. an alien or even a nun/priest when you don't live down the street from 5 different catholic churches or a little when you're 45 and for what ever reason, just not around younger people) just watch them...think of it as a case study...if you don't have a cat yourself, ask a kinky friend who understands why, if you can come over and watch their cat...my local humane society has a cat room where the socialized cats can run around and play and be cats...and then emulate it...do what they do...a little at a time...by yourself if you are embarrassed...the best intro for me was getting on all fours and "crawling" to my then owner and nudging his hand with my head until he scratched behind my ears, he got it really quick...and then i rubbed my face against his knee and layed down at his feet and relaxed...
i, personally don't think a list of protocols would work fo the cat mindset...cause cats do things if it pleases them...if you want an animal that does things because it pleases you, you get a dog...and who said you can't be both....and a pony, and a bunny and a sheep and a fox and whatever animal you can feel....

I am wondering if you have found any more rescources than those listed in this message board for kitty play as Myself and My submissive are also very interested. We tried HumanFauna, but didn't really find all that much info there.

there are not many kitty play resources out there...and those of us that are into are going to have to do what the puppy play people did...find each other and meet and let there presence be known...from what i understand, the puppy play old timers did it within the pony play scene until they could break off...i have done it ocassionally within the puppy play scene and will continue to as long as i am welcome...www.pupout.com is an awesome puppy play site and it's owner is really cool too...and i hope that one day we will have giant cat trees that we can take to events...i have a dream...hehehe....

I saw a reference to it; there is not much on view there, but there is an established 'kitten pride' and an appeal direct to them may elicit some more info.

But it isn't rocket science, just watch, learn and copy. Mind you, the saying goes, 'Dogs have owners, cats have staff' so be sure to establish who's boss!

im very into kitten play but that is because i have cat like tendencies, and it shows in my personality.

like someone said the easiest thing to do would be to watch a cat to work out what to do
