in all actuality, any time you want to role play some thing that is as common as a cat... (vs. an alien or even a nun/priest when you don't live down the street from 5 different catholic churches or a little when you're 45 and for what ever reason, just not around younger people) just watch them...think of it as a case study...if you don't have a cat yourself, ask a kinky friend who understands why, if you can come over and watch their cat...my local humane society has a cat room where the socialized cats can run around and play and be cats...and then emulate it...do what they do...a little at a time...by yourself if you are embarrassed...the best intro for me was getting on all fours and "crawling" to my then owner and nudging his hand with my head until he scratched behind my ears, he got it really quick...and then i rubbed my face against his knee and layed down at his feet and relaxed...
i, personally don't think a list of protocols would work fo the cat mindset...cause cats do things if it pleases them...if you want an animal that does things because it pleases you, you get a dog...and who said you can't be both....and a pony, and a bunny and a sheep and a fox and whatever animal you can feel....
