That is a lovely meditation. It reminded me of a favorite turn of phrase in the Book of Common Prayer: "this fragile Earth, our island home."

You are welcome. I make a lot of posts in the off topics section. I respond to a lot of them too. I think we all want to feel like authorities and experts when it comes to the world's problems. We are not, and I remember this every time I start to feel arrogant or pretentious.
