Oh, I don't expect an explanation from anyone, I'm just pointing out that it is hard to make a 'one size fits all' TOS.

Definitely is.

Proper capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse" and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

Having a little experience on this forum, I'd like to point out that the injunction isn't about using the words, or even a fringe discussion of such topics topic.  The injunction is against conversations where the primary focus is a discourse on these topics.

I can say "I won't date a girl who is into necrophilia."  That won't get me censored.  A post detailing how I dated a girl who was into necrophilia, and how we went about selecting 'patners' to satisfy that kink, on the other hand, would be a violation.

Thus, it won't matter if we use the word 'child' or 'UM' or any other code, sign, etc.  It isn't the keyword, it's the context of the conversation.  Anyone who's been to a munch quickly learns that it's ok to discuss some topics, and taboo to discuss others.  Those common sense guidelines apply here.

Stephan

Right, which would be why I mentioned UM/child/whatever are all the same. It's intent, not word choice, that matters.

And some topics that wouldn't be taboo at a munch/gathering (such as the considerations being a parent can bring into your lifestyle, including examples) are taboo here, simply because it would involve the conversation being more than just peripheral mentions.

It goes beyond common sense, though, because simple common sense would just say that you can't talk about doing illegal things with kids.
