You are just NOW seeing this movie?  It is fun to watch fox be exposed but any thinking person can watch that crap and see the bias pretty effortlessly.

Agreed. Nothing new here....The people who watch Fox either are so stupid that they are not capable of recognizing the manipulation or they fully realize it and just enjoy not having any of their core beliefs challenged. Either way...It points that the viewers of Fox are lacking in some very rudimentary and fundamental ability to use their brains.

13 years ago I started college as a speech communications major with a specialty in radio and newspaper journalism.  Not 6 weeks into my semester I was told by the head of the department that I would never make it as a journalist.  That I am too polite, too liberal, and unwilling to follow the rules, as well as too ethical and I was encouraged to change my specialty to radio dj (which to be honest I greatly enjoyed)

Having watched Fox News become more and more of a sell out over these years I'm glad I was unwilling to sacrifice my personal ethics. 

I do have a few questions because I am still learning.  Is Fox and Rupert Murdoc an "independant news agency" (coorperation)  or are they funded by the Republican party?   I see what I feel seems like alot of government propaganda being broadcast through mediums that are supposed to be fact based.  Are we as a country heading towards a Nazi Germany-equese style of government funded propaganda news system with no balance?  And lastly, with the Patriot Act and Bush's Executive Order concerning "anti-war movements" and the ability to arrest anyone anti-war, is there a danger that anyone who reports on the war or on anything the Bush administration doesn't like in danger of being arrested? 

Thanks guys for answering any of these questions.  I've only started following politics over the last year or two and I'm still trying to decipher the crap from the truth.

Fox beat two journalists who they fired for blowing the whisle on lies that were being broadcast.  They won the case saying that lying isn't illegal for a news outlet.  Typical right wing belief.

i think i have the dvd.

i noticed cnn has taken a more "progressive' stance on life.  it boggles my mind the can of excuses the extreem right has to deflect any critism what so ever. my usual reply is lets move on to another topic. as i will never break thru the brainwashed numbscull. maybe im the villian, if so- so be it.

part of me wants hillary, but in popeyes words..... im done with all the corporate cocksuckers!   hillary is a wild card. the right fears her. if she is lessor of the 2 evils ill vote for her.  seems all predecided.

while all the states  are jockeying flor bigger clout- i do think it is time to abolish the electoral college and go with the popular vote.

Fox isn't alone, it just happens to be on the right, instead of on the left like the other major networks. "Ya pays your money and takes your choice" as to which pack of  liars you want to watch - I for one, take what any of them say with a grain of salt - they aren't news media, they all put their own spin on it.

Keep in mind that ratings are more important than the truth when it comes to the news. And that is true with every media source.

The biggest joke on FOX however is Bill O'Reilly. He basically insults and bashes everyone that disagrees with him. And he wants every judge whose ruling he disagrees with thrown off the bench. There is nothing intelligent said in that program at all. It's just Bill spewing his own crap as if it is the word of god. I'm just amazed so many robots watch that show.
