Chewsie, what else are you going to do with a J.D.? They don't teach them management, finance, economics, marketing etc in law school so if I were looking to hire management people for a business they wouldn't be qualified. They can go on Fox News like Geraldo as a "Fox Legal Expert" but how many of them do they need for that? I don't know if you remember or not but about 20 years ago a lot of law schools closed their doors for a few years because, "there are too many lawyers." With the housing downturn I don't think there's any doubt that we'll see something like that again. They can't go into Electrical Engineering or Construction without going back to school. There's a "law" that they teach you about in Business School. It's called "The law of supply and demand." You're very fortunate to have a degree in Nursing! You'll never be without a job. That's a job with a very high demand. You don't hear people say; "we have a critical shortage of lawyers."
