Just as one of those weird thoughts you get

Assuming furries wear the fur to show their above average love for animals.
How do they resolve wearing dead animal skins like leather etc?
Is it just more yiffy love, or is it a creepy Hannibal Lector thing?

Sounds like a Black Sabbath song when Ozzie is drunk and slurring his lyrics.

Lol that`s why I don`t wear real fur when I`m playing neko. That just seems gross to me.

I just bought Sabbath Past Lives. It is a double live CD. The first CD is Live at Last , I have heard a million times. The second CD is live music from the Sabatage album before Ozzie became a spent case.

Actually I know a ton of furries. No silly they don't usually wear real fur, just try and get as close as possible to it. But I do know one person who does wear real fur. He's a wolf furry and wears rabit fur hehe. Also any other fur he gets he has to know where the source came from. Like deer skin from an animal that's over populated.

I guess it depends on your personal thoughts on politics of animals.

But is your Furry in dead animal skins friend, any different from someone who shows their love on humanity by wearing dead human skins?
Even though the skin came from someone who died of natural causes, or from some overcrowded country which sucks?

I eat animals, so I'm not pushing a point, I'm just trying to see how furries see it?[:D]

This is officially the best thought of the day.  Even if it wasn't written today.

No.  You're confusing furry with bestiality, which it isn't.  It also isn't environmental/ecological awareness.  There's some overlap with both certainly, but furry fandom is about a whole plethora of things from appreciating the artwork to a specific sexual fetish to a personal or spiritual identification with a type of animal.  Someone who identifies with a predator animal may have absolutely no problems with the eating or wearing of prey animals.  Or they may be a vegan, who knows.

In my experience most furries are too busy with their own personal dramas to have many deeper political thoughts on conservation and ecological balance.  There are exceptions, but in my experience that's been the rule.  I doubt it even crosses most of their minds.
