And maybe you should take your own advice and consider that not every one else in the world share the same schedule as you.

Just a thought.

There are always exceptions to a rule I have no problem accepting that and who is picking a fight exactly? I made a comment giving LA another way in which people could spend all their time here that’s all. Next time I’ll be more agreeable and maybe say what everyone wants to hear all the time.

See.. that's the problem.. you come in here, making broad, sweeping statements about others, then when backed into a corner because of your own idiocy, you play the "exception to every rule" card then the "I'll just agree with everyone else" passive-aggressive bullshit.

You are right ofcoarse you are seeing that you know exactly who I am. Also why the insults, is it my turn to start calling you names now?

I don't agree at all. Have you seen the many messages filled with numerous spelling errors and poor sentence structure? Not to mention the crazy ideas that are so prevalent, especially in the off topic threads. Or the same mistakes being made over and over by fellow bdsm'ers . I really don't think people are any more or less intelligent in BDSM than in vanilla life. Many just think they are.

Someone’s ability to spell correctly is a bad indication of intelligence in my opinion.

Well, it certainly isn't a good indication of intelligence is it? I seriously doubt you view a well written message and a poorly written message equally.

I count the thought and imagination behind the words in truth. Not everyone can get an idea across in written form well but it doesn’t mean they have nothing to offer. In some cases the opposite is true; people that follow rules often follow them because they can’t make sense of things for themselves. A stifled mind is one that knows nothing other than how to be seen as being correct. I’d rather come up with an original idea and be wrong than just copy the majority view.

Lol. That is funny. Well, if being wrong is your goal, you made it!

FullCircle -> RE: Intelligence (8/17/2007 12:45:11 PM)

What's so funny. That you might not be best placed to spot intelligence because of your spelling prejudice?

instynctive -> RE: Intelligence (8/17/2007 12:45:58 PM)

This has nothing to do with who you may or may not be, nor am I calling you names.  I am simply responding to the letter of your posts (which, by the way are recently containing more spelling and grammatical errors, something you've voiced dislike over in previous posts).

Estring how do you say Baaaaaaaaaaa?

Nothing to add.

SusanofO -> RE: Intelligence (8/17/2007 12:53:22 PM)

The first man I was ever contacted by, when I first got interested in D/s and BDSM, told me that most of the people involved in it were upper-middle calss and educated types.

I am not sure how one would ever prove that, and I've since gotten the impression that although I might consider many to be more sophisticated (and mostly simply because they are involved in D/s) that I don't see any strong evidence they're not just about like these rest of the general population - except for their involvement in D/s and-or BDSM. I am not basing this on my impression on just online discussions, but real-life activity also.

will not speak for the rest, but for myself on this subject.....
would not say if it is about intellegence as much as the looking inward to the soul's path of this Life.....and expressing it fully..... one has to write about their feelings openly and with celebration.....
