Good point LA ... perhaps it's more a matter of starting Him off then letting Him run with it, knowing You are nearby should He have a question or concern. In a sense You'd almost be acting as more of a DM over His scene ... that might be the happy medium! However it ultimately works out, I hope You both have a lot of fun and please come back and tell Us all about it!

For all those who participated in the thread, and Ma'am Jay in particular...........

The auction was absolutely fabulous! During the gambling portion of the evening, both My husband and I did very well at increasing Our funds. (I think I had some additional help from the blackjack dealer <wink>). He came away with one purchase..... I came away with two.

Not to put too much private business on the public board, but he had a wonderful time, and so did the person he was with. Since I did end up with two boys at My disposal, I didn't have as much time for his scene as I thought I would. I was within a reasonable distance if he would have needed anything, but he did just fine on his own. He had a blast.

As a sub (not a slave) and never even having played in a group, this actually sounds really fun! So as the most virgin type of outsider to this I'll give my opinion on how I'd feel about this situation. I think it sounds like a great way to get him some experience doming, since it would probably be more dificult for him to get that under other circumstances where subs would be expecting more personal/intense connection/experiences. This seems like a fun, casual atmosphere, I don't think anyone would be necessarily expecting to push limits or hit subspace or anything, I don't see how someone could truly submit to a stranger, so it is more just role-playing anyway. I, personally, would be fine with being "training wheels" in that situation, as long as he is upfront about that, and limits/safewords etc. are discussed. Good oportunity for some casual play, getting experience, and even feedback for him at the end if he wants.
