I found a reference to this site on MySpace and got excited.  My wife and I (we are a lesbian couple) have been experimenting with bdsm since 2004.  I brought the subject up and my wife flew with it.  We have attended Tribal Fire in Oklahoma and visited the Sanctuary in Dallas a few times.  With my schedule it is difficult to become a member and participate in the meet ups since most happen during my work week.  I work Thurs - Sat, 6AM to 6PM.  There goes my weekend huh.

We do not have much opportunity to play since we still have 3 children at home and I am not comfortable with public play at this time.  Speaking of which, does anyone know of any bdsm friendly lodging in Texas, Oklahoma, or Arkansas?  We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary next month and we want to PLAY.

It is exciting isn't it? I felt like my eyes were opening up and I have a hard time staying off the forums sometimes... there's heaps of great information and links and a lot of expertise about the lifestyle and other things floating around here. Of course there's also a heap of people who call themselves experts but aren't so put your filters on before you take any 'advice' as gospel. One more thing I found was that I felt like such a newbie and so inexperienced compared to everyone else here and (although this may work for you) I found myself trying so hard to fit myself into one of the labels in the beginning. Forget all that if it's not for you... the labels are great as a point of reference but not all encompasing (a bit like the fact that we have to keep adding letters to the GLBTQ community) and you probably know and have done more than you think!

Good luck... oh can't help you with your area though...

Thank you.  I'll remember that.  Yeah I remember with it was just "gay".  Wow have things changed.
