Thank you Aylee. Thank you very much. I take compliments whenever I get them. :-) My post was more for the benefit of Ghita and Greedy as well as to all of the other Floridians who are feeling a bit cold this day. I'm hoping it does get down to freezing or below tonight for the irrigation system is scheduled to come alive on one of its twice-weekly runs, and I'm looking forward to awaken early tomorrow morning to see if I can capture the sparkle of the early morning sunlight through, what I hope comes about, small icicles. I miss my ice.

The cubes in my freezer aren't pure; they pop out with a frosted appearance through them. Icicles forming naturally, albeit with a little unnaturally sprayed water, are clear and reflect the sunlight beautifully into rainbows. The sparkle of sunlight through ice is still one of the most beautiful images that I'll ever see. Just so you know, I am well versed in winter weather. A postcard or calendar doesn't do it justice. ;-)

Works for me! Of course I have to deal with ice storms every year. The first time it was pretty. After that they are just annoying.

Yes I am sending a bunch to the US. Picked up a box of cards today and want to get most sent out by friday, especially since the mail will prob be slower than usual soon! Thanks to all and I've included mine in return, fair's fair I say!
