It's not so much that I had a bad day or not, but a girl that was in front of the judge before I was almost had a horrific one.

When you represent yourself, they give you a little print out, stating your rights to appeal, the charge and so on and so forth.

The poor girl thankfully read what she was given, unlike most people.  Instead of the moving violations she was supposed to be pleading to, the sheet, which is a binding agreement, stating that she was pleading to assault with a deadly weapon.

BIG DIFFERENCE!

I mean, a little difference could be understood from a secretary, but that is just screwed up.

Thankfully, I wasn't pleading to anything.  Goddess only knows what I would be pleading to on the paper at that point.

Sorry, it was just frightening to see a clerical error that grave.

Yikes! I'm assuming the court rescinded that document and provided her with the correct charge... with the proper apologies.
