I had a great time and do intend to go visit Rain and Lumus again. The weather was sunny and mild and the dinner at the reception quite delicious!

These local talking weather-heads must be very bored. They cut in every half-hour with a tropical storm update for a bunch of clouds hanging out over the coast of Belize.

Belize!

I can see if this gang of mist becomes a numbered or named storm, but jeez!

sappa .. that crap is one of the things I HATE about FL.. the first year I lived here (CHarlie? I think).. I was SOOO panicked by the time it got close enough to affect this area that I ended up sleeping for 2 days after the adrenaline crash.  Damned newscasters preaching "DEATH! DOOM! DESTRUCTION!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!" kind of updates...

Now I don't pay any attention until it's within 12 hours of FL landfall.
