the cord on my headset kept tangling and twisting and it eventually just wore through. i tried the bondage thing (electrical tape), but it didn't stop it. some of the fine filaments must have gotten severed. i could hear, but the mic wasn't working.

i hate buying new ones. [>:]

I started a tongue in cheek thread about what would happen if we were all stuck in a lifeboat in the middle of the ocean and we had to toss someone overboard so that the rest of us could survive (in other words, who would you vote to toss overboard).  I clearly labeled it tongue in cheek and intended for light hearted humor so, like I said, I can’t believe it was the concept.  I can only assume that something got out of hand while I was snoozing away.  Ah well.

Sorry Marc but I just signed in a short time ago and hadn't seen that thread at all. Yea I noticed lately some do get short tempered for no reason, must be the full moon...yup must be!

No need to apologize.  Now that I think about it, I have seen the un-person’s name mentioned once or twice before without official sanction, so I don’t think it was that.

You know, I never really participated in the cruise ship threads (I just thought it would be a neat way to start the scenario) but based on what some people have said, I get the impression that something went wrong with it.  So maybe mention of it did have something to do with it.  I’m still inclined to think that something got out of hand when I wasn’t looking.

You could try a bluetooth headset for I believe your Mac has bluetooth built-in. That way you can roam around the house looking all Borg-like. Well, within 15 to 30 feet or so of your house from your Mini.

I recall last night seeing something about throwing people overboard, but I thought it was probably something to do with the political threads, so I never clicked on it. 

Is there anyone willing to tell me who the un-person is?
