I tackled him from behind, knocked him down adn then pinned his arms and legs behind him hog-tie style till the copsgot there (a few minutes, not long since they were on the corner.) I didnt really think about wether that was the best course of action... sort of reaction to her screaming for help. He had a hunting knife, obviously. It flew out of his hands when i hit him. The cops told me it was a fairly dangerous weapon.
Poor old lady was scared stiff, and thanked me profusely for saving her. Also tld me she thought I was sent from God to protect her that day.

I came out of it with a skinned knuckle... I think I fared pretty damn well.

Now, if only I could manage to sleep late a day I dont work in the morning, I would be  a happy camper
