There is a very clever scammer in here, who still have a profile up. How do I report her ?
She is extremely clever, no grammar mistakes and pretend to be in UK, but of course is not...
She is in Africa because of diseased friend and need moeny to get home to UK.
She builds up trust for many days, even weeks, decide for first meeting etc. before an "emergency" comes up..

You mean she pissed you off and now you're out to get her? How do you know she's is a scammer?

Lots of us are clever and have excellent grammatical skills, it doesn't mean we are scammers.

Of course I know that, but that is not what this was all about !! Nigerian scammers are well known for having many gramatical errors, their dating scams infiltrate all major dating sites. I have a scammer here that is very hard to discover, but she is unscrupulous scammer...probably a man pretending to be a woman also updating photos of white women !!

Pissed me off, what kind of person do you think I am ? Why do you disbelive me without even knowing my case ? She has not pissed me off, I have trouble getting her away from my yahoo chat. She says she is in deep trouble, can't get home from Africa etc.

I assume every girl I write is a scammer or fake, until she demonstrates she is not.

For some girls, that happens in about two emails, for others it takes weeks. 

You can report a profile as a scam by going to it on CM, and click 'report profile' and then checking the 'scam' button.  Nothing will happen, until others do the same thing; it works like craigslists automated removal system.  It requires several members, from different IPs, to trigger the report.

Miss Magnolia...I edited my post to clearify...I can't believe reading how unpolite you are...I am trying to stop people from getting frauded and all you do is harass me. I will leave collarme, but I thought I would help people from getting frauded since she is very active on collarme...

Thanks Stephann for giving me a good answer. No one wants scammers in here, and believe me this is a scary one. I have met many scammers online before, but no one as clever as this person.

Your one and only post was bitching about some unknown person, who may have simply annoyed you and you were trying to cause problems for her (not unknown on here). You THEN amended your first post AFTER I asked how you knew she was a scammer. Your original post contained NONE of the information you THEN posted.

Then even after the following two nasty posts directed at Myself, I give you the link to report this person and you're STILL bitching at Me?

Suck shit and die, dickhead.  BTW, it's IMPOLITE. If you're going to abuse people, at least do it correctly.[:D]

To report a scammer in mail:
Under the mail is two rows of buttons. One says Report Message. Click it and select the reason for reporting. Then click Submit Report.
 
To report a scam profile:
You must be in the list view rather than the full profile view. If you are viewing the full profile, click the button at the top of the profile that says Back to List. Once you're in the List view, there are two rows of buttons under the profile. In the bottom row, second from the last, is a button that says Report Profile. Once there, they give you a chance to select both what part of the profile you're reporting and why.

This will be my last answer to your posting. You started with saying I was pissed off when I ytold I had met a scammer here..is that not unpolite ? You now continue with calling me "suck shit and die dickhead.." I will not fall so deep and continue such talk with you...I never use such language...and could never think of calling anyone such names.

This is my first post on the forum simply because I previously was here udne ranothjer profile name. I have my very good reason for changing my profile name.

I know my grammer is not correct, quite simply becayse English is not my native language, and I am not in UK or USA.
The scammer i will report have I been in touch with for 3 weeks, I have often sit 5-6 hours with the porson on chat...believiign everythign she said was true...It is nto a good feeling when I understand I have been talking to a scammer in Africa how only now wants money, and blaming ehr problems on cancer in friends etc...

This will be the last words you will hear from me. I am happy to see there are persons here that are more friendly.

I have been on the net for 15 years, on many forums, but never met someone like you before...

While the OP may have annoyed or frustrated you, this seems a bit over the top in terms of response. You made assumptions about the original post. He responded, in a fairly polite fashion, including taking the time to clarify his original post. You were brusque in all of your posts to him, and English is obviously not his first language. This fact may have caused a poor choice of words when he said harassing. Being more used to dealing with non native English speakers, I interpreted his asking why you were harassing as him asking why you were being negative when he'd simply asked a question.  
 
Also, I didn't find any of his posts to you to be nasty or even overly negative. He expressed his feeling, in polite terms, that you seemed rather negative about his posts. If you feel that was abuse or that he was bitching at you from such a simple exchange, perhaps you want to take a step back and figure out why this trivial exchange made you so angry.

Conversations that take place outside of this site really aren't considered 'evidence' of illegal or 'scam' activities.

If she didn't say it here on CM, you're really just spinning your wheels.

Don't take it so seriously until there's a real connection.  If a girl seems too good to be true, she probably is.  Women who say "you're the best man I've ever talked to on this site" in the second email are probably looking for money.  Use your own common sense.

The majority of people on this site are adults and are well aware of the amount of "scammers" who have profiles here. It is quite within your rights to report her if you feel that she has done something to you that you feel is a scam. I am sure anyone else here who feels the same will also report her. In the meantime walk away from her. There is a very easy ignore function on yahoo messenger which also allows you to report the person as scam. I am sure you have already done that with her but it is worth mentioning again.

Have you tried blocking her?  You have to delete her from your friends list first, but it has always worked quite well for me in the past.

Helpful hint: Collarme forums are not a "safe place". People only as polite to you as they feel like being, if you want a nicer, safer, sweeter place you have to go somewhere more moderated. Probably either a pay site or a place where the moderators have a lot of time on their hands.

Frankly, a lot of people come in and try to tell us someone is an evil scammer and we shouldn't ever talk to them again and the whole community should shun them. In situations like that, I'm willing to bet at least half got their panties in a twist about some miscommunication, perceived insult or is just angry that they got rejected. In these cases, it is their word against yours and neither are offering anything I would consider "proof".

If you have an actual scammer report it to the mods. You'll find the info you need, I assume, in the big letters above every CM message when you go to read it:



DO NOT SEND MONEY TO OTHER USERS FOR ANY REASON!

But that's just my guess.
