Just thought I'd give a suggestion of what to do this Saturday. Regardless of your political party you can go to and vote in the Iowa straw poll. A LOT of fun, free stuff to do.
ANd if you want a suggestion of who to vote FOR may I suggest you vote for an END to this misguided war and FOR FREEDOM from an omnipresent, VERY expensive federal government:

No thanks, I think I will save it for when it actually counts.

Doing my part, saving gas yanno.

LaTigresse: what counts now is perception. ANd that is why the straw poll is important.
People say Ron Paul supporters only exist on the internet.
THat needs to be disproven.

Iowa......................A great place to grow!!!

Now that was a good motto.

Get your noodle out of the clouds, this war is a damn distraction for most of you. It would have been over had we had a tad bit of crediblity as honorable folks in this region. But sadly enough it is our own past transgretions that are the reason we even have a friggin war. Stop whinning and talking about bailing on a mess we created for once and own some damn accountability for the actions of this nation as a whole. If you don't like the war, understand its depths, this shit started to haunt us during the Hostage Crisis that another democrat hid his chicken ass head in the sand over. (You remember the peanut farmer don't you) Actually you can trace our middle eastern woes back post WWII with several short sighted failings to include the establishment of that Shah fellow.

Ask these Presidential candidates some good questions for once, Like who is going to hold Exon Execs accountable, or better yet tell the big oil baron that his days are numbered and we are going to focus on renewable fuels and the systems that use them. That we need laws that set time lines to clean the highways full of dinosaurs. They can do it if they inact laws with teeth. We focus on things that have us spinning our wheels folks. That war has no retreat. Only technological progress and a future where oil is something we discuss in historic reports can end this war.  It's about oil alright, the money of oil, and the greedy assholes that use it to pad their own pockets to either buy weapons or Bentlys.

But just like any other weekend, this straw house will be politics of the norm.

Bull

NeedToUseYou -> RE: To the People of Iowa (8/11/2007 6:56:42 PM)

Results:

1. Mitt Romney –32 %
2. Mike Huckabee – 18 %
3. Sam Brownback – 15 %
4. Tom Tancredo – 14 %
5. Ron Paul – 9 %
6. Tommy Thompson — 7 %
7. Fred Thompson – 1 percent
8. Rudolph W. Giuliani – 1 %
9. Duncan Hunter – 1 %
10. John McCain (less than 1)
11. John Cox (less than 1)

Ron Paul did pretty good considering... Of course Romney won it, it would have been a failure if you didn't given the time and money he dumped in it.
