You are quite welcome dovie! It was a pleasure to participate in this particular thread as it always amazes me how few people realise that this is a very ancient symbol indeed and has had many different meanings in many early cultures dating back well over two thousand years!
And a note to FatDomDaddy: Yes, a similar symbol was used on the rings in Histoire d'O (published in English as Story of O), but it certainly does not originate there!
