Hi Delores, First, it's "hubby is a dominant" And second, just go where your fantasies take you. That is what will fit best. Find local groups and attend socials and parties if you feel that would be good to help you get exposed to new ideas. But really, it all comes from inside you.

Dominate is a verb, dominant is an adjective... for a lot of folks it is like fingernails on a chalkboard... I suspect it was not a put down of the OP, just some free advice, in order to feel less like a noob...[:)]

She didnt say 'hubby dominant' - Because if she is new - then she is going to get blasted for using the word 'dominate' - LA was being helpful and trying to assist her in advance that using that will get her condemned even before she starts. As other people said, go with your fantasies, other toys and situations you might get off on are...gags, blindfolds, buttplugs, nipple clamps, collar and leads etc...and roleplays are for some an easier way to get into kinky stuff...a little pretend and play can be a good way to explore fantasies, likes and dislikes etc. Read erotica together and the boards here and discuss what ideas turn you on together, a lot depends how much you want to keep things in the bedroom or incorporate stuff in to your more everyday life, but the boards here are a mine of useful ideas and thoughts...hope you have bundles of fun together exploring....

Just a thought ... go to a hardware store (Dom's..er..home depot) or the housewares section at Target/Walmart. There are so many things there, if ya look at em right...lol. A glance through kitchen drawers and cabinets can also be interesting..lol. and..most of all... Have Fun!!! cheers, jimini
