Status: offline 		As usual, there will always be some "kinks" that are pretty much rejected. The illegal ones spring to mind first. So thats simply the way it is there. There shouldnt be any emotion we attach to those.

As for ones we create for ourselves, well I admit to feeling kinda grossed out when I first gave thought to people peeing and pooping on one another. Really. It didnt go over well with my brain.   Personally, I didnt bother saying anything. My objectives are to keep reading till I see more of that thought. So now, Im not freaked out by the thought, since to me, its a choice. I cant see that that is all that harmful. Now drinking and eating the stuff, thats where I might hold the line. But plenty of other people write in their thoughts on those, so once again, no need for me to open my mouth.

My point is, keep reading. And keep writing, even though someone might have slapped your face over a thought they reacted to. Thats about the worst of it around here. Try and have good humor about it. I think we've all been slapped for something we said. Try looking up my goofy postings. Read those for a while. Im sure you could find something in there I will offend you over. lol

Unless the moderators themselves take us off, we just all move on to the next topic of discussion.

That's a great point, and one I try to make often when discussing the subject of tolerating other's kinks.  Not all things are, or should be, tolerated.  I'd mention some of them, but they violate the TOS.  Though I did not sense that the OP was referring to anything of that nature.
 
Still, it's important to note that just because something is someone else's kink, does not mean that it's automatically afforded some inviolate protection.

Absolutely, not all kinks are acceptable.  Pedophilia as a kink (for example) is not acceptable.  Period.

Pedophilia is -not- a kink.

Neither is rape.

Lucky was correct to point out that not all laws should apply (consider sodomy).

I would hope when we speak of "kink" we are thinking of activities between consenting adults.

Certainly that is what I think of when I speak of it.

Neither cannibalism nor necrophilia involve consenting adults.

I'm not sure I see why these are being listed as "kinks".

People that engage in those activities would disagree with you.  And I'm not sure that you, or me, or anyone else, is in any position to now judge what are and aren't kinks.

P.S. - Rape fantasies/kinks/scenes etc. are amongst the most common.  The absence of consent may invalidate it for you, but be all the more exciting for others.

Actually, there are several documented cases of consensual cannibalism.

This has been an interesting thread - but keep talking about stuff that is against CM TOS will get it pulled (even in the negative) - regardless the other interesting input - just a reminder.(Trying to be helpful... love me...)

BDSM is full of people from the great thang we call 'life'.  Most people are judgemental, are presumptuous and do like to have a sense of superiority over someone they can view as 'lesser' to themselves.  You surely cannot expect that just because this is 'BDSM' that things are going to be any different?  It just isn't gonna happen.
