reaches for samba just as she disappears...

NO DAMMIT! you can't take her! Get's up as if to try and trace the voice, furious at being called a pitiful angel... that frightening purple blaze lights her eyes, but as she starts down the hallway, she doubles over in excruciating pain - screaming out her fury and pain, intensifying the blaze, and starting a ripple of purple on her wings and in the air around her.... stumbling downstairs, wailing for Samba as she goes, Angel makes it outside and collapses in a foetal position next to the stone grotto, hands on her belly which has swollen to twice its former size

......from the ruins of the grotto, I step out from the settling smoke and dust....bristling with power, my eyes are now pitch black......sees the prone form of angel....

Angel..wake up. You're time is near.

vaguely hears what sounds like Bear, but is too much in pain to try to make sense of what he's saying, especially as her sanctuary has just blown up around her! sees what used to be a familiar and cherished friend and in her confusion, holds out an arm to him as if to ask for help or comfort

...spies the alien heading towards the hotel.....fades out and returns to htoel.....the alien reaches the lobby.....ot the entrance sits an exact carbon copy......

Angel lies in a stupor in the garden. Bear was able to stop the pain, but the echoes of it and of the kitkins outrage are still roiling. and so many voices she can't separate them out. it feels as if it would be so much easier just to let oblivion take over her mind. just to let events happen as they will. as others want them to.
