It was nice to be with him with out time constraints and everything, minus the few spats we had, It was also a valuable learning tool.

I want to live with him, but neither of us are ready to be live in, some things have to change first, some situations need remedying, and I need to finish school before I can be live in. I did learn a few things about myself, such as  I NEED a bathroom in our living inviroment, His trailer has a very tiny toilet, that backs up any and every time you flush it, so naturally I couldn't use it.  the park had public bathrooms for residents, but it was simply annoying and inconvienent, and sometimes datsardly to have to deal with walking across the park deal with locks, I need a two room apartment. and I need a decent amount of space, in which to exsist in. I can not be crammed in, elbow to head. I need to be able to have a space to go hole up in when I need to or do my thing with out bothering someone else. Both of us need to mature a tremendous amount before being live in, and he needs to change some slovenly ways and so do  I, if we wish to succede.

I am back home now,a nd in a way it's a blessing and high time, and in a way it's a bummer. I will hate to going back to only 2 days a week, and phone time only. But I am happy to have things I need, a decent bed, space to live, and not having to step over a sleeping person and two dogs when I need to pee, since the space we occuied together required one on the floor and one in bed. Also his land lord don't allow guests to stay more than 36 hours, and so I can not come down and be with him, unless he puts me on the lease, and that means I have to pass a credit check, no prob there, I am cleana s a whistle, but they may increase his rent, or may not even allow 2 people to that trailer. He's promised though if I can get a thoughsand dollars saved and he can too, we can start apartment hunting!!

Hmm. Refer to the thread that wonders what apartments will take animals. You say your friend has TWO dogs? Twice the fun yet twice the hardship trying to find a place.

I agree, you don't want to be trying to hide pets.  Dogs are notoriously unsubtle in their behavior.

Masque, My cocker spaniel is very well behaved, very low key. His dog fancies herself a guard dog, and barks at every little disturbance or person going by, Ginger would make it 10 times harder to find or keep a place, even if it wasn't that hard, with her instinctive need to gaurd. We'd be better off renting a house lol.

Wow, where do you live that you need $2 grand to get an appartment? Probably explains why he's living in what sounds like a camper. Of course I'm just being smug because my 2 bedroom house is only costing me $350 a month.

wasn't that basically my point?  You don't want to be trying to hide dogs.  I'm glad you've got a quiet dog, but you can't depend on that.  It only takes one fit of barking to be discovered.

Joseff, apartments around his area are going for some of them up to 1150. that's tripple what any of us have. the ones that are cheaper, Ie 800 900 are in the valley, and he can't really just up and move. Plus you have to have security deposit, which in case of one place was 500 bucks, plus first last month rent utilities, and renters insurance prolly wouldn't hurt.

Rohnert park is pretty cheap his rent is480 a month, but yeah it's a travel trailer. Not to glamoourse and no way to hide how small it is, once ya put two people in it lol.

No. We'd never hide them, that's just disaster and trouble waiting to happen. We'd declare both dogs.
