Faramir -> RE: Master/Dom Slave/Sub reading material! (7/30/2007 5:10:32 PM)

The single best Master/slave book I know is Jack London's Whitefang. I highly recommend it from an M/s standpoint, and of course it doesn't hurt that it's a great story and a pleasure to read. Beyond some of the obvious stuff, you can look for the brilliant artwork that concerns D/s issues. An example would be Paradise Lost, a work centered on submission and possession. I particularly love this part of Bk IV from Eve to Adam: My Author and Disposer, what thou bidst Unargu'd I obey; so God ordains, God is thy Law, thou mine: to know no more Is womans happiest knowledge and her praise. With thee conversing I forget all time, All seasons and thir change, all please alike. (635-640) There is some good stuff out there if you open your eyes.
