SexyRed -> question on how to stop photo theft, one more time (7/28/2007 5:48:02 PM)

Someone had pointed out to me that a woman saying she is a 29 year old lesbian from St. Louis was using my photo on collarme. I went to support and it disappeared.

Now, tonight someone else from collarme wrote me to ask if I was this other PERSON, (same screen name as the former thief) and gave me their link on yahoo adult profiles.

Again, same idiot using my photos and same description, lesbian, 29, living in St. Louis.

So, what do I do now? I don't even use Yahoo so is there a way to get rid of this on there as I did here?

God this fucking pisses me off....what would possess someone to use my photos?

Hold up a sign in your picture stating profile name, site, and date picture was taken. Luckily for me the police have already done this. Nah just joking, I have to say that now because people just don't know when I am joking it seems.

You aren't the first person it's happened to ... it's why I now put my name on my pics

Hi, I am not very technical, just got photos scanned in to jpegs and went with it. How do you even put your name on them for website usage?

That thought occured to me,my photo, loads of people have complemented me on it,and it has crossed my mind that it might be taken by someone else, something I cannot stop even though the picture is watermarked,Perhaps I should have put my name across,or at least my identifying mark.Something very easily done,I will think about that.

SexyRed -> RE: question on how to stop photo theft, one more time (7/28/2007 6:03:19 PM)

I have no idea how to watermark, god this makes me so mad, what is wrong with people!!!!!!!!!!

On this site the one downloaded is not as large as the original you uploaded therefore a fake is easily identified to the CM administrators but getting them to fix it is something else altogether.

There is a photgrapher, he does erotic bdsm as well, who could probably help....
His web site is...  http://www.outsider.org.uk/
I also know another way to get a hold of him, if you wanna ask on the other side.
He puts a C for copy written over his pics...
if no one else tells you how to watermark...I cant figure it out either,
I'd give you his other contact.

I don't post a picture for this very reason.....Deathly afraid that one month I'll be paging through Hustler and find my head "photo shopped" onto some chicks body in the "Beaver Hunt" section of the mag.

Thanks, but I was able to get this THING taken off collarme because the admins asked for proof of ID like a drivers license and of course, THING could not provide that.

My question now is how to get it off Yahoo adult profiles, that is probably going to be harder.

You can put your name on your pics, including watermarks with Paintshop Pro, or a similar program.

As Purepleaure said, watermarking can be done in paint shop pro, also photoshop, where I do it.As for imaging programs,a free one can be downloaded called,(and don't laugh,it is genuine),-The Gimp.

A guide of how to use this program for watermarking,and that of photoshop can be found at the following address;

SexyRed,

Send me the photos you want to use and I'll be happy to Photoshop a watermark onto them for you.

Well... Telling YAHOO! that they're violating your Copyright would be a good way to start. See if they have an Intellectual Property Rights hotline or something.
