Read the guidelines for photos, select a new photo that meets those guidelines. resubmit.
When they are refused, theres a reason.

Hell, mine has been awaiting approval for almost a week. I just assume their busy reviewing and denying all the bad ones.

No scars, cuts, etc.
No bondage although I've seen blatent bondage pictures
No body parts that arn't your foot or head, hand etc.
No images with www.societysm.com written down the side.

I'm going to blantantly highjack this thread!  Can anyone tell me how to use a second photo (versus primary) as your avatar on the message boards.  It hasn't been approved yet ...but i'm tired of looking at this one.  So the moment it is......

Oh honey, it's nothing special at all. I was just feeling guilty about not having a more recent one, now that I am an old lady of 45 and all. Don't want anyone thinking I was pretending to be something I wasn't and now that my hair is all short and wacky.......I figured it was time.

I had to crop the darn thing clear up because it was with my most favourite ratty old t-shirt because I was painting. I hate my own photos so had my little sister pick her favourite of the recent ones from our week together and she chose this one. Said it captured me au natural, when I look my best, per her. I think I may have loaded two taken together. One with a "how dare you take a picture of me" look and another with a silly smirky look. May as well scare everyone!

I'm actually quite fed up with collarme's random choices for appropriate photos.
Sometimes they let through random photos of feet, eyebrows & monster makeup yet wouldn't allow a photo that was a clear face shot just in sepia tone.

I think you go into the signature for your profile on the message boards, which is different than the collarme one.

Select the photo or avatar you want to use.

I just had one turned down. It was of my dog laying on my bed and wrapped in a blanket staring upside down [&:] . Maybe it showed too much fur?

i tried that (kinda sick of mine and want to put up a new one)...but the option isn't there to choose a different photo *sigh*

I would demand a refund if I were you!!!!!!!!!You know, you don;'t have to put up with it, you can always take the pic elsewhere.
