Ok, so I bought this really nice "fire engine red" lipstick, the kind that isnt supposed to kiss off or rub off or come off when drinking or eating....actually looks kind of nice although more glaringly bright than I usually wear...

Problem...it really DOESNT come off....even with the usual makeup removal stuff.....any ideas?

Those long wear lipsticks dry out the lips too.
Try maybe baby oil?

I just checked...baby oil on the end of a Q-tip does take it off.

I always just deal with it.  A shower at night and then washing the face in the morning with some serious work in seems to do it for me.

I hope you didn't buy it for your girl on girl date on saturday :-)  The rules are: never EVER wear anything too new. Am I quite understood? Stomp!

WHAT?  Gita is having a G-on-G date?  WILL THERE BE PICTURES?   Video?  Audio?  Stained glass windows?  SOMETHING, PLEASE!

Cold cream?  Rub it in, let it sit for a minute, then maybe try rubbing a bit with a washcloth (one you dont mind getting red on!).

Johnson's Baby Shampoo.  I used to work in a costume shop that sold a huge amounts of theatrical and special effects make-up designed not to smear or smudge.  Use the baby shampoo without water and rub briskly.  Rinse well of course, or you'll be tasting the soap all day/night long.

Im sure your feelings are thick enough that I didnt scuff them too hard....and I was reffering to the guys who were more interested in my date with a chick tomorrow than actually helping me with the makeup issue.....*grins*
