I read a lot of profiles and yes men and woman are equally bad about defining what they seek...Most women want the bad boy lovers in the bedroom and the perfect gentleman in public,Some of us men seek a different thing,A beautiful bitch out in public,One that makes others say"DAMM I wish I had her or hell shes a hottie"... and then we want in another breath the home loving slut, the perfect cook, mother of our children. the other side to our coin...So a mix of both suites me well...Give it to me Lady's I deserve it smiles..bounty

I try not to define 'what I want' especially not in a profile, most things seem appealing in the right context. So I just let people take a wild stab in the dark instead! If they guess wrong I make the loser-sound from the price is right, sometimes I even hum jepordy music while they try to pretend to be what I want (which is pretty funny when they can't answer any questions before I give a description of 'what I'm looking for'). The syndrome you describe though, the 'I don't like nice men' is perhaps a bad attempt at trying to repell indecisive or less than dominant men, though the person saying it may not understand that. Before I was truely D/s aware, I had a bad pattern of looking for 'aggressive' instead of 'dominant' (no wonder i was always unhappy!) I find that to be a not uncommon trend among women who are actually subconsciously seeking strong, dominant styled men. My association was stupid, it involved the 'nice guys aren't aggressive and therefor not what I'm looking for'. Nothing could be further from the truth. While I don't normally advocate 'reading between the lines' sometimes it helps to see through a bit of the mixed signals people will throw up, sometimes unwittingly. Or maybe she hates nice guys, or the word nice!

Hell why are most men looking for a "ladylike slut", meaning: Someone they can bring home to Mama but will let them do all sorts of nasty things, and maybe whore her out. Things that seem contradictory aren't always.

Greetings Cookie cutter definitions of people...this that, the other damn thing. We are, all of us, individuals, some exhibit characteristics similar or the same as others. Accepting that individual differences make the world a very interesting place in which to live... Is everyone the exact same way everyday? No. As circumstances and experiences change, so do we. "Bad boys, Bad boys,...whatcha gonna do, when they come for you".....heh heh.
